Privacy Policy

1. Data Controller

Alertena acts as data controller for account data of dashboard and mobile-app users, and as data processor for the end-user data our customers submit through the platform (recipients, devices, message content).

2. Data We Collect

Account data: email, display name, password hash, organization name, IP address and timestamps (including legal-acceptance records).

Service data: project configuration, API keys, device/installation identifiers, push tokens, message content and delivery metadata.

Technical data: request logs, delivery outcomes, error reports (if error tracking is enabled).

3. Purposes and Legal Basis

Providing the Service (contract); authentication and security (contract, legitimate interest); service emails such as verification codes (contract); improving reliability (legitimate interest); legal obligations.

4. Third-Party Processors

Delivery relies on Apple Push Notification service, Google FCM, browser Web Push services and SMTP providers — message content and tokens transit these parties as technically required. Infrastructure is hosted on Oracle Cloud (EU-Frankfurt) and a dedicated server in Türkiye.

5. Retention

Account data is kept while the account is active and deleted/anonymized after termination, except records required by law. Delivery logs and message metadata are retained for a limited operational window.

6. Security

TLS in transit, encryption keys and secrets stored encrypted at rest, hashed credentials, least-privilege access. No system is perfectly secure; report issues to the contact below.

7. Your Rights (KVKK Art. 11 / GDPR)

You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection regarding your personal data, and withdraw consent where processing is based on consent — by emailing the contact below. Turkish residents may also apply under KVKK Article 11; EU/EEA residents may lodge a complaint with their supervisory authority.

8. Cookies

The dashboard uses strictly necessary storage (authentication tokens, preferences). We do not run third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

9. International Transfers

Data may be processed in the EU and Türkiye. Where required, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards under KVKK Art. 9 / GDPR Chapter V.
